What if we reversed the roles?
If a caregiver makes an error, DCF may investigate, potentially leading to serious consequences. However, everyone makes mistakes and that includes DCF. But DCF sometimes expects perfection and holds parents to a higher standard. Neglect can be reported for minor reasons, like dirty dishes or an empty fridge.etc. In reality, DCF should have a better understanding for cases where individuals make errors, mistakes, and omissions.
