With 20 Plus Years Of Fight, Attorney Seaver Saved Me From My Worst Fear
“DCF filed the 51A against my husband, her step-father. Then they filed the same 51A against me. I mean, it stinks. It’s the biggest nightmare of a mom’s life. And to then be accused of you possibly having something to do with it is terrible. They supported an investigation of the 51A against me, even though I had no idea that I was being investigated. It’s not fair. So I was accommodating to all of their questions and I was trying to answer them as honestly as I could, because I thought that was the right thing to do in trying to seek out answers. And then I guess, ultimately, everything I said, they, I guess, could use against me, except I’ve done nothing wrong.
My biggest fear was that my children would be taken away from me. But I think the biggest fear is that they would be taken away from me through no fault of my own as I did not commit any crime against my children. I’ve done nothing but protect them. And the thought of them being taken away and raised by someone else is terrifying. I couldn’t even tell you the long-term effects. I can’t even begin to understand what they would be, but they wouldn’t be good. So I south out an attorney by Googling DCF lawyers, Massachusetts. I found very limited information. I found Attorney Seaver and I found one other female attorney and I cannot think of her name. it was the 20 years or 20 years plus fighting DCF that was on the ad just kind of made sense to me. “This person has been doing this and this is all they do. Maybe that’s where I should start”.
Attorney Seaver had a plan right from the beginning. He first told me the first mistake I made was talking to DCF. And from now on, I can’t make that mistake again and never to speak with them again. And if they contact me that I should contact attorney Seaver right away. And that’s what I did. And he took care of the whole situation. From that point on, I was never alone. I always had somebody there on my side. It felt great to have my Attorney Seaver there. It was very comforting to be able to hand the situation over to somebody else, somebody that knew what they were doing. It’s fantastic.
I’m still trying to process it. I’m just so grateful that my case has been closed and I’m grateful to Attorney Seaver for all the work he’s done in getting me there. DCF will not tell you what your rights are. They will tear you apart. They will tear your family apart. In order for you to know what your rights are, you need to contact an attorney. And Attorney Seaver is the man. He’s the one to call. Attorney Seaver over-delivered and far exceeded my expectations.”
