DCF Make You Stressed and Tired? Attorney Seaver Took 100 Pounds off My Shoulders
When the social worker had come in to speak with me, granted, we were at the hospital for about five days, but I had to be induced, so we were only there with the baby for about two days. It wasn’t until maybe the day before we left. It was shortly after I’d given birth, and I was still coming back to reality.

All attorneys have a website, but none as detailed and thorough and full of information, specific DCF information, like Attorney Seaver’s.
After reviewing Attorney Seaver’s website, we had looked at all the reviews, and we had found that he has 4.9 stars out of five, over 500 reviews from previous clients, which says to me that he’s a great lawyer. He delivers for his clients. I guess you can’t really ask for more from an attorney.
Attorney Seaver made the whole process pretty streamlined, pretty simple. He had a fantastic plan. Step one is he met with us and prepared my husband and I before every meeting with DCF. He was there with us with every meeting, for all the questionings.
For step two, he was there with us for every meeting, for all of the questionings, making sure that our rights weren’t violated during the questioning. Step three was, once the meeting with DCF was finished, Attorney Seaver and his team would meet with us and just recap the meeting. We would make sure that we had provided any documents, usually doctor’s notes or anything like that, to the attorney and his team, so he could then forward them over to DCF to just streamline everything, and make it really simple.
When we had first learned that DCF was going to be investigating us and be in our lives, we weren’t sleeping very well at night. We weren’t quite eating well. We were just balls of stress. Now that Attorney Seaver has gotten the case closed for us, all that stress, all that worry, it’s 100 pounds off your shoulders. Not having to worry about DCF ripping apart our family, and being able to enjoy our daughter and have our happy family together, it’s worth anything. It’s worth everything.
Attorney Seaver had a really good working relationship with our DCF social worker. He had a good relationship with us, and it just made him working with us, working with the DCF social worker, there was a pretty good rapport. There’s an open line of communication. They could tell that we were just open and willing to cooperate. I think Attorney Seaver’s great rapport with the DCF social worker really helped expedite and streamline our case, to help us get it closed as quickly as possible.
Getting a hold of Attorney Seaver and his team anytime of the day or night to answer any questions or concerns was super easy. They gave us their cell phones. We had their email addresses. We have the office number. We could always get in touch with somebody. If we left a message because they were unavailable, they got back to us in less than 24 hours. They were super quick to respond.
Some of the things with DCF, they were very complicated. They were very confusing. They made our head explode because there’s just so much, just so much to understand. Attorney Seaver really made it simple and easy for us. Attorney Seaver, unlike some other attorneys, he just has a flat fee, a flat rate. We were able to do it in payments. Because it was just the flat rate, we had no qualms about calling or emailing or anything like that, because we had just paid the flat rate instead of him billing for every phone call, and billing for every minute that we took up his time.
That made the flat rate very affordable, and put us at ease being able to call and communicate with him and his team as we felt necessary. Having the flat rate over the billable hours and being billed for every call, every visit, everything, we found it much more affordable and much more comfortable. There was no conflict within myself, or between me and my partner, about reaching out to the attorney and his team for any questions or concerns, because we did get a flat rate.
